Skin Science and Simple Water
The skin is the largest organ on your body – are you taking care of it? Most people neglect the skin on their body yet they moisturize their face every day – what’s wrong with this picture? Arms and hands are exposed to sun and so are legs and feet. You might get a pedicure once in a while and that lovely exfoliating thing they do – yep – that is what your whole body needs once in a while. You can get this service at a day spa. It’s called a body polish, sugar polish or salt glow polish. Do it! It exfoliates all that dry, dead skin and leaves your skin ready for a wonderful massage with moisturizing lotion.
Skin Science discoveries lead to water – but can we make you drink?
Water is so important to your overall health. It is amazing how many people do not drink enough water. Our body is comprised of 80% water. You need to replenish it. How are you doing this? I see people dragging old, icky water bottles around and I wonder if that plastic bottle has been sitting in their car a lot. You have to watch out for the plastics that seep into all that gorgeous, nicely paid for bottled water. And, by the way, when it was en route to your Sam’s club was that plastic water bottle refrigerated or was it cooking in 120 degree heat as the truck drove through Arizona?
Do I have you thinking? Good. Watch out for bottled water in certain cheap plastic bottles. You could be drinking some plastic chemicals in there with your H2O.
While you probably thought I was going to give you lots of scientific skin science information the best advice is to give your body what it craves to function at it’s peak- water. Protect your skin with great moisturizers full of natural ingredients, too. Skin care is more simple than most people think. Be kind to the skin you’re in – drink water for the best cellular activity to keep your skin glowing and healthy.
